Teams
The Community of Hope has a wonderful group of volunteers that are dedicated to helping reduce homelessness in the Carlton County area.
Creative Media Team:
This group is responsible for all aspects of the website, Face Book pages, Blog, Newsletters, designing of posters/flyers, etc. and news publications. They are also responsible for maintaining a Community of Hope contact list and running calendar.

Donations Team:
Acts as the point of contact for all material donations and arranges for pick-up or drop-off services. Contacts other organizations or community resources and churches to arrange for drop-off boxes, ensure drop boxes are in place or in need of emptying.

Finance Team:
Responsible for all aspects of the bank account. They are also responsible for ensuring all taxes are documented and filed in a timely manner, maintaining budget records, and preparing and presenting a financial report at all meetings.
Networking Team:
Connects with various churches, agencies, sponsors, and other resource organizations. Arranges face to face meetings to share Community of Hope’s mission with the intent to garner new relationships and to work together to solve homelessness issues in Carlton county.

Outreach Team:
This group will schedule location, date, and time for community dinners, block parties, networking lunches, open breakfasts and any other public meals as they arise. Additionally, they will keep a running calendar of meal events, print and disperse meal events to community Face Book pages, and post flyer information at specified locations. Will contact volunteers for food items needed, set up, serve, and cleanup for each event; make a meal menu for the month, and ensure enough supplies are on hand well in advance for each event.

Prayer Team:
The purpose of this group is to pray for the Community of Hope for guidance in all their endeavors, be prayer partners at events and be available when special prayer requests are needed.

Research Team:
Will work to find up to date information on how to build relationships with the homeless, to build their trust and identify their needs directly from them. Search for similar organizations that would consider sharing their successes and any advice they can give. Additionally, they will research the legalities of a non-profits such as privacy laws, what can we do to help advocate for individuals, and to find material that can used as a group to educate ourselves on resources available and provide best information possible to help the homeless.
Shelter/Warming Center Team
Will work to research and find options for a shelter and all it would entail. Secure funding for the property, arrange for renovations as needed. Establish a budget. Monitor the progress regularly.
Fundraising Team
Appeal for donations. Plan fundraising events. Ideas, location, logistics, volunteers.
